Some people write Christmas letters, others make resolutions to mark the end of one year and the start of the next. Danielle Bradbery is heralding the holiday with Yours Truly: 2018.
Over the next three weeks, starting Friday (Dec. 21), Bradbery is releasing covers of three songs that were her top tunes of the year, starting with Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman,” premiered below. The video will live on Vevo/YouTube.
Coming Dec. 28 will be Bradbery’s cover of Kacey Musgraves’ sultry “Slow Burn,” and on Jan. 4, her perhaps surprising take on Post Malone’s “Psycho.”

“I grew up listening to all kinds of music from country to R&B and hip-hop, even Hispanic music with my mom’s side of the family, and all of those influences have impacted my own art,” Bradbery tells Billboard. “Incredible music was released across all genres this year, so I wanted to mark this moment in time with my own versions of some of my favorites. I can’t wait for everyone to hear my take on these songs.”
The songs aren’t the only new material from the Season Four winner of The Voice. She marked the one-year anniversary of the release of her 2017 sophomore album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, with an EP featuring spare versions of the album’s “Worth It,” “Human Diary” and “Potential.” I Don’t Believe We’ve Met (The Vocals) came out Dec. 7.
